What is it?

I don't know why all these autoresponder/mailer services assume it is so easy that no explanation is necessary. These things are a college course of information and they would be worth the money. Let's have some basic training. Let's have a couple of pages answering the questions: What is it? What is it for? What does it do? Millions of people are told they need one, but when you go to pick one, you get a couple of miniature screenshots. What's a campaign? How do I know if it's working? What did it send? Why didn't it send?

These Autoresponder Outfits want a lot of money. Personally I want them to do a much better job of answering these questions and a lot more of them.

EmailUnlimited 7.6 pro

EmailUnlimited 7.6 pro

Don't get too excited. I just tried it. At first, it seems pretty intuitive and for only $29.95. I was seriously considering it. It has a few bugs I had not made up my mind if I wanted to put up with yet. Then, I happened to check out the price page and i find out the price tag was only the first payment. No No NO! Don't hustle me. I don't like it. I will be uninstalling it immediately.

Oh well, I have a big list to check out.

Second Post

The job is to big and I must set some criteria. So I have decided to only list proper websites. So I won't be accepting capture pages for inclusion on the list.

First Post

When I first started shopping for an autoresponder, (like three weeks ago) I thought it would be a fairly simple matter of picking from a fairly small list of recommended services like awebber or getresponse.

It is nothing of the sort. There are tens of thousands of services available. A Mind Boggling list, to be sure. The purpose of this blog is to try and at least map this new Industry. I will be gathering up links for available services in the coming months.
Stay tuned.
